RENO, Nev. -- At a September Conference in Reno, Liz Curtin, Department Director of SJS, was honored by the International Community Corrections Association with the J. Bryan Reilly Award for Meritorious Service for In recognition for her work that “has delivered outstanding service to community corrections.”

In her acceptance speech, Liz noted that that J. Bryan, the founder of Massachusetts Halfway Houses, was one of the first people she met when I came to the Crime and Justice Foundation. He became a friend and mentor, who turned out to be from her from home town of Leominster.

Curtin thanked the ICCA Board, her CRJ colleagues, and her sisters.  She concluded with a Vince Lombardi quote from a previous day’s session saying that he relentlessly pursued perfection and found excellence along the way.
