Father Hugging Son Sitting On Steps Outside Home

The Crime and Justice Institute recently updated its Coming Home Directory, a compilation of resources in Greater Boston available to individuals who were previously incarcerated that connects them to services that help build stability and success. This year’s updates include service changes caused by COVID-19.

The purpose of the Directory is to assist returning individuals, their families, service providers, and local agencies in helping people thrive in the community by connecting them to services that help build stability and success.

The often difficult transition from incarceration to the community can include significant barriers for individuals as they return home to their families and communities. But help is available. Community-based agencies can help individuals navigate the transition and overcome these barriers. The Coming Home Directory is a resource that identifies and describes these services with the goal of reaching the broadest audience possible.
