On Friday October 16th, Boston City Councilor Josh Zakim toured Brooke House with his aide, Kyndal Henicke, who represents the Councilor on CRJ Fenway Advisory Board.
While CRJ has met with Councilor Zakim before, this was his first trip to the program which is within the District he represents. Staff reviewed the Brooke House program and the facility.
The Councilor had recently attended the City Council meeting which was held inside the Suffolk County House of Correction, and was very interested in our collaboration with the Sheriff’s Department. Both of our guests were impressed with the interior and exterior seasonal decorations, which were installed by staff and residents.
