Could Lawyer Keep A Straight Face?

One of the lawyers seeking windfall fees from the settlement in the tobacco industry lawsuits in Utah whined when complaints were heard over the outrageous $2500+/hour rates that will result if their fee claims are granted by the courts.

"...Those figures are simply not real," he said. Is there anyone who believes him or takes his whining seriously?

The CRJ wonders if the man was able to actually keep a straight face when he made his counter-remarks?
