COURT LESS THAN HALF RIGHT |
|
6--28--2000
The Supreme Court issued two more high-profile rulings today. Since one was good for America and one was not, some might consider the two a wash. But not so.
One ruling struck down so-called "partial-birth" abortions. Therein was a sad loss for basic humanity and morality in the nation. Such abortions are so sickeningly, brutally murderous that most medical providers refuse to even consider them.
The other ruling was that the Boy Scouts of America could exclude openly gay leaders. That was a win for rights, morals, and America. But the decision was only 5 to 4, which clearly indicates the court's liberalism and harmful attitudes.
